Baku Street Photography Festival invites you to meet with Georgian photographer Levan Kherkheulidze.
Levan is a photographer from Georgia. His photographs tell us the stories from the different cities, streets, beaches. His photographs convey a wide range of emotions: calmness, serenity, loneliness, love, feelings.
Levan is friends with many Azerbaijani photographers. He is the author of several series of photographs taken in Baku.
The moderator of this meeting will be Ilkin Yagubov, a well established photographer and a good friend of our guest.
Levan Kherkheulidze (b. 1969, Tbilisi) lives and works in Tbilisi. In 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Georgian Technical University. In 2002-2005 worked as a photographer for the newspaper “24 hours”. In 2005-2013, he was a photographer for the popular Hot Chocolate magazine. 2009-2019, Levan Kherkheulidze worked as a photo editor and photographer for the Liberal publication. Since 2005, he has participated in several group exhibitions, as well as solo exhibitions in Georgia and a number of European countries.
